Reflecting material?

Does anyone know where to get good reflecting material for building your own lights?

Can you be a little more specific on what you're trying to do? What type of lights, etc...

DIY??? IMO, paint the entire interior of your canopy flat white and use high polished aluminum as the reflector(s)... there's a local distributor just a few minutes from my home that actually deals with sheet metal and will cut pieces to my measurements.

or you can paint inside the canopy and use an aluminum flashing available at the local Home Depot or Lowes. to cut it alll you have to do is score it where you want to cut it and then bend it, it should break right on the line.

What I am looking for is in some florescent lights. It is a steel or aluminum with a reflective cloating used to make the metal reflect efficently.

Check e-bay,uou can buy mirro brand(polished aluminum used for making reflectors) in 2'x2' squares for pretty cheap.For your ? above,its aluminum,either polished or not.The next best reflective material is simply flat(not gloss) white like Repto outlined above.
