    Default Skimmer upgrade

Looking to replace my just o.k. protein skimmer that came with my sump.
I was looking at the following skimmers:
    Berlin Turbo Classic
Coralife Super Skimmer Needle Wheel Protein Skimmer (new)
I would also be open to any other suggestions from people.
I want a skimmer that does not require constant adjusting to make it work and also don't want to spend a fortune on one.

I guess alot of the needle wheel skimmers are probably close when it comes to performance.I use a Euro-Reef,works great, only cost me $185 brand new.

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#I see your tank size is much bigger lol I hear the Super Skimmer 225 is also very good and yet simple and reasonable. I think it runs around 199+ tax#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

I am really starting to lean towards the Coralife skimmer. At $130 for the 125 gallon model I am willing to give it a try.

Well after thinking about things a bit I may try and replace the pump on the existing skimmer with a needle wheel style pump and see what happens. More than likely going to get an Ocean Runner 2700 (the pump used on Berlin Turbo Multi's) that way if the skimmer still does not work as well as I would like I at least have the pump for a skimmer that is better.

I have a coralife super skimmer so far I have been happy with it.
It is our responsibilities, not ourselves, that we should take seriously.
