    Default T5 Lighting Question

    Looking at different lighting options

How do you determine lighting needs for a tank,
I would like to see know if a 6 bulb T5 setup would work for my 120 gallon ( 48X24, 24d)

    Thanks

That's good to know as I thought I might have to go with an 8 T5 fixture and that getting really big.
I found a used 6 bulb and been on the fence about it

What are you running for bulbs???

I have 2 48" 4 bulb fixtures over tank but only run 6 lights right now. I use ATI bulbs ( Andy carries them for like $25).
    front to back is:
    Blue plus
    Aquablue special ( white)
    Blue Plus
    Aquablue special
    Purple Plus
    Aquablue special.

I like the way it looks.

    Whats make a T5 a HO?

Is it just the bulb selection or are there changes to the ballast?

Looking at Tek 5 48' 6 bulb, seems to be a lot of price flux.

Also see that some come with LED for moonlight, thinking easier to add single LED moonlight later?
