    Default Convict style chalice?

I stopped by store today and saw this chalice. It looks similar to the convict type chalices. Maybe some gurus can weigh in?

Not a chalice guru so can't help you there, but it is very pretty nonetheless!

IMO it looks nothing like the convict, its a dark green with black stripes and red dots....very distinct. Unfortunately I lost mine a few months back. Its a nice piece but not something I would pay a lot for. Maybe 20 to 40 a frag

I guess what I was getting at is the pin-striping... I realize the colors are different from the "real convict" chalice (hence the "convict style" in the title). This one has aquablue and orange pinstripes.

Seemed like a bargain to me...if I had the room I would have picked it up. But ended up leaving it for some other lucky reefer. It was about 6-inches in diameter and only $90.

It also was in pretty marginal lighting...my guess is under some nice blue pluses or LED lights it would pop.

Now that's a great price for a colony that big cuz I'd pay 40 for a coupe of eyes. Looks like there was a lot if eyes there. Where is Grandville? Near Lansing? I have to travel to the west side if the state next week. My case got canceled for tomorrow and weds. If its on the way home from gr,, maybe I'll swing in and check em out. I was going to stop in VIP pets but after reading google reviews, didn't want to go 10mins out of my way

As I said, that's a good buy so I bought it lol, thanks Jim. Once it gets acclimated and hopefully colors up, I'll snap pics

Be sure to mention CaptiveReefs to those guys... they don't feel marketing on forums is worthwhile.
