while you check your zoas for more nudis ... check them for eggs as well. they will be white, stringy, and mucus like. if you find eggs, suck them out with a baster or gravel vac. i had one once ... and i found it eggs on a new zoa colony that i bought 2 days before i found the nudi. you can also run fresh water (ro/di water) over the colony to remove any left over eggs.

    Okay.
How do I make an iodine dip?
Will this dip kill this "zoo eating nudi" or just the eggs?

Oh yea! Who is the wise guy that warned this Nudi? I go in prepaired to pluck it off and can't find it! eeerrr!
If you go through a whole day without learning something new, you wasted it.

I would get gallon of RODI water and get it to the same temp and then add about a tablespoon of lugols iodine. grab your colony and dip it head first and rotate it with your hand. give it a good swoosh your zoo's will be fine. do this for a bout aminute. and then get a baster and blast it. after that put it in the tank and just run your actinics for the rest of the day. they will stay closed for the most part of the day but the next day they will be opened and happy.
