Anybody know what this can be. It is on my LR and the base of one of my acros. Let me know if you need better pictures. This was the best I could do without a macro lens. Thanks for your help!
try to siphon it out, and get another pic. Looks like a nudi to me too.....
I tried to siphon it out but it wouldn't budge. I ended up pulling the coral out and removing it manually. I don't think it was a nudi unless they turn to slime when they are taken out of the water. That is what happened to this. Thoughts?
looks like a nudi to me as well. they may turn to slime but i am not sure usually people can syphon them on into a bowl and take a good picture. keep a close eye the next 2 weeks and see if there are any more in that area. feel lucky that you got it now before it ate half of your coral... and be sure to dip your coral if you don't already because it usually kills parasites like nudis and others.
Monti nudi, if you have zoa colonies and can dip them do it, see if there are more. I've taken a couple out of my sps tank and it's never had any zoos in it, hitch-hikers. Good luck.
