Default Need ID Please Good or Bad?

I haven't added any new rock to this tank in over a year, so it has to be at least a year old.

What is this? I've never seen it before and I have no idea where it came from. It looks like a slug with a small flat shell on its back. I think I have seen them online and they are a good thing, but I wanted opinions so I can put it back in the tank.

(Oh, I did add a coral that was attached to a 2x3 rock...maybe it was on there?)

Thanks! I read that they like cooler temps (72-74) so I put it in my sea horse tank where the temp is a constant 73. (H. Redi) Since there is low flow in the SH tank there is more algae in there for it to munch on. Hopefully it will eat the small spots of hair algae. The lawnmower blenny that I bought to eat it wont touch it. Go figure!

Hey there Angie! Yes you sure did get yourself a lucky find! I always wish I could get a good hitchhiker, but I tend to only get some new aptasia or morjano! I'm glad your seahorses are going well for you. Soon, my tank will have all it needs and is really established forr when I get mine. Maybe I should go buy myself a slug for Valentine's Day!! lol Good Find!! ......Angel :angel07:
