    Default Out snorkeling near Isla Mujeres, Mexico -- is this a cowfish?

    What kind of cowfish? I tried to find him on Google... but no luck with this exact pattern.

    I saw two; this is the biggest one. When I get home, I'll try to post some videos of my snorkeling trips, including a really crappy video of this particular fish trying to out-swim me.

    Looks like a cowfish to me, but did you see the "horns" on front? Hard to see in your pic...

    He seemed to be pretty big. I would say maybe 10 -12 inches in total length... but hard to tell with the water magnifying everything. I did some more snorkeling today at Punta Nizuc. We just got back. I don't think I'll quit my day job and become a photographer... LOL I will start a thread and post some pics there. I saw some pretty sweet fish today...but my pictures do them no justice at all.
