I've had that algae before (I called it red turf algae...not sure what it really is) and it is hard to get rid of. I think turbos and hermits will eat it, but it's not their first choice. If it's not too late to contain it, I would just remove the rock or two that is effected. If it's spread that much, I think cleanup crew reinforcements are in order.
I have a rock in my tank that is doing the same thing. I bought two turbos the other day and they mowed it down to next to nothing, but then both showed up dead 2 weeks later. The algea has come back. I've had success with in the past with the CoralRX on some HA. Im gonna have to get more aggressive with my approach for sure.
