    Default What is this?

This looks nice, but it appears that it will take over rock....kind of like xiena. That is why it's on a rock all by itself in the sandbad.

    Any thoughts on it?

Looks like blue clove polyps (Clavularia sp.) to me.

They seem to be a pretty invasive coral from what I have read, never owned them myself.

+1 cloves, yes its a good idea to separate them from the rock so that they dont spread. They can spread fast.

That will grow on EVERYTHING! I started with a small piece and now it's everywhere. If I were you just leave it on that small rock and enjoy it as is.

Thanks for the replies. I do plan on leaving it on the small rock because I thought it was one of those that would just get out of control
