Do you have a pic? Angel found a bunch of red bubbles growing in our 10g nano, best ID we've come up with is some sort of macro algae... she got some good pics of it, I'll have to see if she can find them for comparison.

looks a bit like cyano...
There's nowhere else I'ld rather be... unless, of course, you're buying
Very different from what we have growing.... I agree with Repto... looks like cyano to me as well.

Get a 4' length of rigid airline tubing and another 6-10' of flexible tubing, put the rigid into the flexible tubing and start a siphon into a bucket... use the rigid tubing for removal of the cyano... the pressure drawn into the syphon is tremendous and will draw all the cyano up in a hurry.
Fought this battle with every one of our tanks now... daily or every other day I'll pull out as much as I could see and eventually I won out. Cyano multiplies at the cellular level on the magnitude of around 400x in 24 hours, left untreated it can get out of hand quickly.

FYI, cyanobacteria is a good indication of not enough current/water flow, high phosphates, and/or bad lighting... it can be one or all of those thing so IMO, take care of each one step at a time. The one most likely is generally due to overfeeding and phosphates... do you run a skimmer???

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Hmm. I can't see the pic. No signs of it even being there. #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#
