    Additional Information & Description

Sexy shrimp are a reddish-orange colored shrimp with white spots. They are one of the smallest and most interesting shrimp available in the marine hobby reaching a maximum size of 1.25" in length. They get their name because of the way they dance by moving their tails back and forth.

In the wild these shrimp are normally found in anemones for protection, however in a captive aquarium they can be found perched in all sorts of coral. They are often quickly trained to sit on perches close to the top and do their "sexy sway" begging for food. They are pretty outgoing and rarely hide.

The sexy shrimps do not get much larger than 1-1.25" inches so they should be kept in tanks away from predators. Wrasses, seahorses, pipefish, etc. will make quick snacks of these expensive treats.
