This is breaking my heart. It's the very first coral I ever bought. Had just 1 head, almost 3yrs ago.
I've done a 5g WC. Now just sitting here staring at it wondering where I can move it to that's lower in light >sigh<

Can you take out 2 of your new bulbs and replace with 2 old ones until it gets better?

Well the sides of the coral are touching the rock and tank wall but this is the only place I could move it too.

I am wondering if you have some revive coral dip or coral rx ?? If it was me I would dip the colony and then keep it in a lower light area like you have it. I would then start a heavy target lipid feeding program at night when the trumpet coral is really feeding ! Once the lights go out trumpet corals really let the feelers out to absorb as much food as they can. Good luck. How did the skimmer box fix work out ??
I would snap the colony in half and place it in a couple different locations....both being in lower lighting if possible. This will allow you to try different placement and also not have it touching the glass. With it being smaller, flow around it will be improved and it will be less likely to get an infection with good flow.
My intake pump and the skimmer return are above it. The skimmer return has 2 large sponges attached to it, bubble deflectors. I can see its getting a lot less light then it was.
I do have some CoralRx Pro. But as for feeding it at night, it's been putting out NO sweepers at all. I've been watching :( As you all can see my tank is very limited space wise. That was the only place to move it. Jim I'm a little fearful of breaking it up.
They're pretty strong and can survive some pretty bad conditions. I wouldn't worry too much, just don't beat them with flow. I haven't fed mine in over a year. I've had a whole colony get wiped out, saw a few pieces floating around the tank and they're growing again. I still have several huge colonies like yours, they all had bad days like yours and yet they're still here
