    Default Coral help, please!

I picked up a few frags last weekend and the info I get seems all over the place so i'm going to ask here on care of them! =) My tank is a 14G BioCube with LED lighting *12 Cree's 8 Royal blue and 4 Neutral White*. I have a Koralia 1 for extra flow in the tank and this is pointed at the surface to agitate the water well.

Orange encrusting Monti: Is towards the bottom of the tank on some LR. It should be getting medium flow. It seems to be happy.

Some kind of Purple Chalice: Is on the sand bed in the back of the tank. I've read I want this off the sand bed and that seems like a good idea also so it can spread more possibly? I've also read these guys can use either high light or low light. Ugh! lol It's like a small rocky thing so I can't really tell if it's happy or not? At night i've shone a flash light onto it though and seen some small tentacles I think.

Duncans: What kind of lighting do they prefer? Mine is in quite a high flow area I think I may need to move them.

Zoas: These guys I know are bulletproof mostly but are they best kept in high/med/low lighting?

I've been feeding the tank frozen mysis and Phytoplankton Live a couple times a week. Should this be fine?

    Any advice is welcome! =)

Your Monti is fine where you have it. Yes get your chalice up off the SB. Low to med light/low to med flow. Those are sweepers your seeing looking for dinner duncans (1 of my favorite) prefer low flow/low to med light. Zoas are all over the place light wise and prefer low to med flow. I'd limit feeding frozen (well rinsed) to 1x weekly to avoid excess nutrients in your tank. These can cause unwanted algae outbreaks.
This chart has done me well hope it helps.

You are a gem! Thanks! That chart looks very helpful. =)

I moved some of them around today. We'll see how they do!

My chalices do totally fine on the sandbed and that's where I prefer them, I have several and they are growing quite nicely. Problem is if they encrust on the rock, you have to take out your rock to frag it eventually. It's a pita and my rockwork never looks the same.

As started zs n ps are pretty much wherever and adapt well to most conditions. Ask are pretty Hardy (chalice excluded) and should thrive in most tanks. Sometimes chalices can be touchy, just depends on which one you have. I would assume the one you have should do pretty well.

Chalices are iffy like the wild colonies! Generally if your polyps and Sps are happy and open your doing great.
