Can they coexist side by side?
I see people keep them in a variety of places from shade to full sun, high and low. People have also trained them to eat during the day, but can they live side by side almost touching?

I have heard that the biggest issue might be temp as dendros like colder water
While mine are some distance apart I would be surprised if they didn't get along. IME neither one is very aggressive. If you decide to try it I would keep an eye on them though.
I simply can't trust people that don't like bacon,
you know that if they did fight you would loose the dendro just cause it is the more expensive one
i have had mine side by side and didnt have a problem with them, and yes they can be trained to open in the day time. I lost my duncun due to an issue i had the dendro survrived but just barely. i fixed the problem and the dendro is growing new heads. WoooHoo im not an ameba anymore i graduated to brine shrmp..lol
