    Default Lobo coloring

I have a lobo that I've had for ~4 months. It seems to be very healthy and eats mysis/spirulina brine about 1x per week.

When I bought this it was a pink bottom with a light blue center. However, the light blue center has been gray pretty much from the day I got it.

Any hints on how to get that color back? Too much light? Not enough light? Not enough feeding?

    Any help is appreciated!

Never had any luck keeping them. They just fade away. I would guess move it and see but then again, given my record you probably don't want to listen.

That would suggest it needs more light if I'm not getting enough zoox.

Especially if it was kept under MH or LED's before you got it. Happened to me with a Rainbow Acan Enchinata. It was purple/orange/green and a week under my T5Ho's it turned faded orange an gray

it"s not unusual for lobos ,acans or meat corals to morph in color.I would move it to more light but not to much at once.moveing a few inches to a brighter area will make a diffrence. If it shrinks up you are giving it to much. Mysis is good food for it but you might want to get some zoplankton. This could be dietary issue. I use to feed ours fauna marine lps food.Very good food.Good luck

I thought you might like to see an example of a morph. When we got this meat coral it was actually a cool speckled color of several colors. It now after being under six AI LEDs has turned to a brilliant brite orange !

Thanks for the input and the picture.

I'm going to try it a bit further back in the tank but still on the sand bed. It will be in the center of the tank and should have the highest PAR. Will see how that goes.
