I'm not really sure how or where to post this, but if you have rock and such that have aiptasia on it and you want to get rid of the aiptasia... you are welcome to bring it to my house. My Orbiculate Batfish will rip it right off the rock and eat it. Most likely, if we time it right... you can take it back home with you.
If your rock has coral on it... that's probably not going to be a problem. The only other thing I've ever seen him touch is Texas Trash, and that was in my tank after all the aiptasia was gone. I usually just hold the rock and direct him to the aiptasia. He's has precision nipping ability.
I have to scrounge for aiptasia for him to eat. HE LOVES IT... it's ridiculous. I actually bought a rock covered in aiptasia for him recently. (who does that???) He wil eat a ton of it at one time if it's available to him.
Call me to set up an appointment for Aiptasia Removal Service.
