I think my 2 larger H. Reidi's are finally better. It's about time. I just finished a double cycle of furan-2. They will go back into the main tank in the morning. I have 4 juvi H. Reidi's in QT now. I'll save that story for another day. I have been doing tons of reading on 2 other sea horse boards and i have come to realise that the white patches on these 2 may not have been an infection at all. It could simply be loss of pigmentation. I have read of other people who have had this happen to their sea horses with no ill effects. Since the spots appear and disappear in a matter of seconds to hours, it seems that that is the likely diagnosis. Besides the fact that I never see them eat, they seem to be doing fine now. Obviously they are eating something or they would be dead by now. I have been dealing with their "illness" for over a month straight. I swear they wait for me to leave the room and then they pig out on mysis or pods. I've done all I can do so the best thing now is to just leave them alone and take the wait and see approach. I feel confident that I have tried my best and done all I can. If they do take a turn for the worse, nobody can say I didn't try everything humanly possible for them.
