    Someone who lives in Hawaii needs to write a letter to the editor about banning snorkeling. I have been on those dive boats when twenty people who knew nothing about diving break apart more of the reef and destroy way more habitat. The destruction was incredible. Standing on corals, hitting them with their fins, grabbing anything. I remember wishing Hawaii had fire coral. I'm sure a conservationist like Snorkel Bob would be all for that.

    Not sure what happened with the thread title... Jim?

    People are writing letters to the local papers but unfortunately most of them are in favor of the ban. Check Ret's other blog posts on the MASNA site.
