    Default Banggai Cardinal Fish

Well my wife and I came back from vacation and we lost our Banggai Cardinal Fish.

I wasn't sure about their lifespan, so I looked it up.
I guess they typically live 4 years in Captivity. I got this guy from the old Preuss Store, and he was at least 7 years old!

It was kind of sad to lose him as he survived my tank disaster I had in 2008 where I lost all but two of my fish. The other one that survived was my blue tang.

So if anyone has one for sale or has bred any of them, let me know, as it seems my 75 Gallon is a great place for them.

I am fairly certain that Tropicorium has there own tank raised Banggai Cardinals, but tank raised will for sure be your best bet, I hear they do not always fair the best right out of the ocean..

Cool thanks. I was pretty amazed that my fish was nearly twice his lifespan. I still can't seem to keep stony corals though, but I think I need more flow.

My Squamosa clam is huge and loves the LED lights now.

    Yes, I have 2 batches. 9/28, 10/16.
They should be big enough at the swap if you wanted to wait a few months.

I was going to bring 10 that are 4 months old to the swap. $10 each.
