    Default Kole Tang......Changing color???

My Kole tang I've had for 6months or so has something strange going on with his face, it looks blotchy like color melting away, do they change colors from juvinile to adult that quick ? He is eating very well and is quite fat and happy but the whole face changing thing is questionable, all paramaters are in check and no problems with any other tank mates. Could it be from running into the rock scape, I do notice him and the sailfin doing some chasing once in a while ??

Here are a few pics that may be able to help decipher whats happening....

i think its just a little stressed out..might be from scraping into some rock, my purple tang did that when he scraped the rock he rsemed his normal color in a day or two..

Wow, never seen anything like that before. What types of foods are you feeding?
I recommend and think everyone should be feeding for atleast one meal every day, some New Life Spectrum Pelets, specifically the Formula A with anti-parasitic non-medicated. My wrasse and glowns go buck wild for the stuff. Another must is PE Mysis for health and in you case some quality Nori daily!

I use the pelets, Ocean Nutrition brown marine algae w/garlic on thier feeding clip every other day or so, mysis, formula 2 flake,Marine quizene, Mysis.. So food is not the problem what so ever, look at the picture he's good and fat and acts normal.

I have added a lot more greens to the feeding clip almost every other day and still no change he seems to be in great health and acts totally natural to the the whole tank, so I really don't know what the deal is. He's a great fish and very active just a little funny looking.
