Hey, I've had my blue spotted jawfish for about a year now- when I first purchased it, I was unaware of the cooler temperature requirements this fish was supposed to have. I've read a number of forums and some people have stated they have had success at keeping their fish at temps between 78-80F, so I decided to keep it. Lately I've noticed under his belly and his back end of the tail, his scales have lost color and turned white. Ive read maybe supplementing with Vitality may be helpful, but not sure.
I've attached a photo.. if you have any comment, suggestions... please let me know.
As far as his behavior, he eats fine, burrows in the sand, is semi aggressive towards other fish, doesn't act sick... more of just an outside thing. Thanks!
