Cheato in the DT to feed a mandarin goby?

I'm wondering if the cheato will survive in the DT? Also will the pods gravitate towards the cheato more so then the LR?

I'm trying to hook Dilly up a little natural feeding station. I've taken a clump of cheato, along with a nice size piece of LR out of my fuge and have added them to a back corner of the tank. This seems to be Dilly's favorite hanging out area.
I've got some new pods coming and plan on introducing them into the cheato/rock feeding station I'll also be adding some to the fuge.

Chaeto should be fine in the display.

It should be fine just keep it trimmed and in a corner so it dosn't drown out light for the tank.

Really not required, and personally I wouldn't mess with doing this unless the mandarin is looking pinched and in need of a serious quick boost kinda thing. If he is looking good and eating good back away quit changing things all the time and spooking the poor little fish!

She's actually digging the new rock/cheato!! So I'm just gonna leave it, but I am done arranging things for her. She's also pretty feisty. Doesn't spook at all
