Sad day at home this morning. We have a male and female clown that were characters. You cuold feed them by hand almost pet them, they would following you around the tank heck he jumped into a cup to get his frozen mysis last week. Wife called and the male was found on the floor DOA. They've been in the tank for almost 3 years so must have been a fluke.
Question I have is it OK to put another clown in with her today?
what species of clown? what other fish are in the tank?
although no two fish are the same and there are no guarantees .. i'd suggest trying. stick with the same species, and find one that's smaller than she is in size (considering it won't have problems with other fish housed in the tank) and they should pair up quite nicely. it may not be love at first site, but it can definitely work! i've had great success doing so in the past with my occys.
