    Default clown fish behavior

i just did my first water change, the water i put in was the right
salinity, temp, etc and they seemed to be fine except when i finished
putting the water in they both started like tweaking out. every few
seconds they would have little shaking spells that would last about 2
seconds. is this normal? or did i do something wrong? help!!!

What species of clowns are they?

Our daughter has a pair of false perc's that do the same thing, during water changes and at random times they sorta flop around at the surface like there is a serious lack of oxygen or something, then they are normal again for a while. Something tank bred, they just doesn't seem right, but it's pretty normal behavior for them.

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#some times with the clowns the dramatic increase in circulation can give them a nasty scare almost think of it as giant wind picking you up and trowing you around for a bit im shure you would have the same affect, i used to have the same thing happen then i started adding the water in slowly threw a small syphon hose from the bucket i prepared the water in. clown fish even tho can be an easy fish to keep have the weirdest habits and no one of them is the same they all have differnt personalitys my advice might not help for all of them but it helped mine from being carted off to the padded rooms after every water change. good luck#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#
