I've seen clowns host in Green Star Polyps, Toadstool 'shrooms, Xenia, Colt corals, just about anything they take a fancy to. We have one that lives in a decent sized colt and another pair that lives in some pulsing xenia (separate tanks).
Every electronic device is manufactured with smoke stored deep inside... only a true genius can find a way to set it free.

My Tomato clowns chose to establish territory in Euphyllia spp. They seem fond of my Branching Hammer and Branching Frogspawn. My little male likes to hide/swim under the polyps between the branches when they are expanded in the day time.
