    Default Clowns acting silly?

I think my clowns are gettting ready to spawn. They have taken a liking to the skimmer pump and act as though they're cleaning it. They also shimmy on there sides out in the water column Is that the signs of breeding? i took a video but can't upload it even thru photobucket

That sounds like typical behavior when they are getting ready to spawn. Have you tried uploading to youtube? Either site should work to host your video and post it here though.

ok photobucket vid is a failure

but the shimmering actions is how they communicate to pair up and talk to each other showing they are ready to spawn

if they are consistently cleaning a spot then they are getting ready to lay eggs and this will happen over a 2 to 3 day span usually in my experience as my clowns used to spawn regularly but the fry would always get eaten by other tank mates

very cool to watch if you can catch them in the act I will look and see if I still have the vid I took of mine spawning

nothing yet but they're still guarding the skimmer pump lol I have noticed they're more territorial now, the 2 yellow tail damsels dont dare venture near pump, they get thier butts kicked. Whats strange is they go for a day or two acting normal then all of a sudden they act like thier mating. I'm thinking that they may just be establishing themselves as a mating pair i'll post if they spawn
