Any pics of it now?
My RBTA looked the same when my tank crashed, but it may just be the way it is.

It looks like it needs to color up some or it could just be the lights, but if the nem wasn't happy it's tenticles would be shrivled up little strings and not puffed out the way they are. It's a small nem with not a whole lot of tenticles yet but imo it doesn't look unhappy.
i all so have a pair of darwin occ in my reef tank put 4 diff nems in the tank the would not host none of them then one day went down at found them hosting my duncans darwins are a little diff then most clowns i would just let them do there thing they will find something to host
my female in the nem lol
I have no fear of losing my life - if I have to save a koala or a crocodile or a kangaroo or a snake, mate, I will save it.

You know, it may have just been coincidence but I read that some people have had success with taping a picture to the side of a tank of clowns hosting a nem. When I got my pair and nem, the clowns wouldn't host it. I went ahead and taped picture to the side of my tank and within a few days, the clowns were hosting the nem.
Again, this may be a myth and it may just be coincidence but before i taped the pic to the tank, a month went by without them hosting or even looking at it. It may also be that monkey see monkey do thing to. I have no idea but I thought it worked for me.
not sure how clowns decide when they want to host, but the pic idea doesnt sound that far out there..i could work i guess..great thinkin Troy..

Do think I am going to try taping a pic to the tank once I am confident the hem isn't dieing.

Nem is still wandering my tank, seems like hes doing excellent.
You need to feed it for a bit, as likely where you got it wasn't feeding it.
the thread is from back in July, i haven't been on the forum in some time. Just figured id update everyone that he is doing well and seems happy.
I dont know their feeding schedule's at the place i bought the nem at but they have been very good to me so wont hear a complaint our of me!
