    Default Fish ideas... compatability questions

Has anyone kept a Halfrichi Firefish? or a Mystery Wrasse? Definitely need a top right? any disadvantages to having a top? I'm open topped now.

what other incredibly cool fish could mix well with clowns and a lion? bright colored, not in the red/orange color family.

The top will keep your fish from carpet surfing. Especially the Hel fish.

As far as compatibility with a lion fish-guess it all depends on the type of lion and how big his mouth is

I don't know about the Lion, but my Sailfin Tang gets along with all her Tank Mates, and there's MANY! You can check her out here : Sailfin Tang

You never know, pappabear has a bunch of fish in with his lionfish. The lionfish didn't mess with any of them. Its also a reef tank!

I have egg crate over my 180, and that substantially reduces light penetration! The tank looks much nicer without it, but for the love of jumpers I keep it one there.

Buy some of the clear mesh from Bulk Reef Supply, then put it in a "screen kit" you can pick up for less then 15$ at any hardware store.
