    Default FREE MAROON CLOWN

Hey gang, I have a beautiful maroon clown that is not gonna work in the new tank. I dont want to risk him beating the heck out of my 2 new clowns so unfortunately he has to go. Ihave had him 2 years. he is big and beautifull but he is pretty mean. I would be willing to give him away. all you would have to do is pay shipping on him and I will pack him nice and tight and ship him out. it breaks my heart but I will make sure to give him a good home.

going to be setting another 55 up soon for fragging (when shad gets time)
I would give him a nice home where he could roam the tank. how quickly do you need to get rid of him?

    Greg,
I am thinking I can hang onto him for a few weeks tops. I dont want him condemmed to the sump. I feel bad for him right now all alone in the sump. but he is doing allrilght, he has plenty of room to mill about. but the sooner the better.

he is white striped and a very very dark rich maroon, he is such a beautifull fish. but he does not do well with other clowns. but other than that he is good in the tank just when he is mixed with other clowns does he get MEAN. I had him in with a perc in the 150 and he almost killed the poor perc.

Graphix when you put him in the tank with the other perc were there any anenomes? if so how many? I have a maroon and per together, the maroon is HUGE compared to the perc whos easily no more than 2 inches, and at first they fought for the same anenome, but when I got two they learned to live together.
55 Gallon. One year old, and looking SUPER.

no there were no anenomes in the tank. and I thought the 150 would have been more than enough room for the 2 fish. but the maroon literally actively hunted out the perc and beat the heck out of him. it was sooo bad that the maroon chased the perc into one of the overflows and the perc lived there for like 3 weeks. he would swim out at feeding he would eat and then he woud hop back into the overflow. I think its cause the maroon has never seen a clown before ever and is jsut a grumpy ole clown.

you should try a long tentacle or maybe a seabay... i would hate for you to get rid of your maroon if there's no need.
