i want to try it in my 24 jbj. keeping up with aiptasia manually is really getting old.

i've heard it both ways. but other then using snails for building materials my pistol has been great.

one of the funniest things is watching him snatch my snails/hermits and into the tunnel they go. he doesn't hurt them but i'm sure they aren't laughing as hard as me. lol

he has a network of tunnels he happily changes around everyday.

one thing i suggest is really figuring your base structure with these guys. i actually siliconed my base layer to eggcrate. worked great.

here's a pic. it's hard to tell from the pic but in between each rock there is some sort of cave or tunnel.

That's a good idea! Do you have one shrmp goby?

Who all has kept a yasha goby? I've also been thinking about those instead of the aurora goby. Might also go with a pair of shrimp. I was watching a pair at Preuss the other day and it was pretty entertaining.

yep, a tiger pistol and a one eyed yellow watchman. lol

i just added 2 Florida peppermints and so far they have jumped right on the aphasia but the pistol doesn't like them so much. when first added one of the peps went straight for one the pistols main entrances and was greeted by a near miss of a pistol shot. the pistol will chase them if they get close but so far everyone just seems to be figuring out boundaries.
