This pair is in my 220g DT along with 8 other fish. Ive owned them for 3+yrs now and they have been laying almost every month for the past year. Its too bad the eggs never get a chance to actually produce any fry but it is pretty awsome to see.

What kind of nem is that hosting them? Why won't the eggs hatch?

That is very cool.
I was told it was a Pink Tip Haitian Anemone when I purchased it. I really enjoy the color contrast between it and the GS. It is a very pretty nem, It has a pink swirl body w/ white tenticals and pink bubble tips. It sits directly under a 250w MH (24" down). The orignal owner drilled 1" holes about 2" into the rock. When he got the nem, he pushed it into the hole he made using his finger. Its never moved since.
The eggs typically never last longer than a week after being laid. I think there are a few reasons why. I know the other fish in the tank cause issues as well as too much flow. Sometimes I think the nem eats them..lol. But its almost as if the parents just stop paying attention to them as much causing them to be eaten or die in the end. I checked them today and there are only 3/4 of the eggs left now. I think due to flow this time. (???)
If they ever did hatch, the fry would almost instantly become another food source for the corals and other fish in the tank anyways.

Horny fish, too bad you cant pull the eggs and try to deal with them in another tank. But there again, that would be called a new job and in my tank they would just be fish/coral food, same yours. Probably a very nutritious food at that.
