Sounds good to me, I didn't know which of the two temps would be better for the anenome...I really like the look up the 14k's though*
I might be changing the subject here and I apologize if I am but what the chances of this system being able to house a mandarin gragonette also? I mean as far as the pods go...I seam to have enough water capacity but can these little bugs travel through the system "ie: pump" to the show tank in order to feed one? Would the anenome or clowns compete for food? I'd really love everyone's opinion on this***
You need to have your tank established for bare minimum of 6 months before even thinking about it. And make sure you have a copepod factory going on in your refugium to keep the tank supplied. Otherwise a Mandarin will eat everything in the tank and then starve to death. Not a good fish for begginers. Easy to keep and fun to watch in a well established tank with an ample supply of pods.
And yes, They will travel through the pump to the tank. You will lose a few but not too many.
You can buy pods but a 4oz bottle is $25 so it's better to grow your own in the fuge.
Yeah that's what I figured....I might would want to try it after I've had this tank established for quite some time "6 months at least I know"...even then though I'm not sure, I'd have to get really good at cultivating first. I just wouldn't want to get an animal like that without having the resources to take good care of it. I just thought I would ask anyway yeah...and I don't think the experiment would be worth the thing not making it and killing off my whole tank. lol thanks again people*
