Default Lettuce... zucchini.... other human foods for tanks?

I've heard of people feeding lettuce (romaine I think), zucchini, and even a guy that fed pea's... anyone here feed any of these things or other human type foods to their tank?? I have been thinking about trying the lettuce myself and was wondering about doing it.... Ive never fed nori or anything like that before and my fish are all healthy and thick (including my yellow tang thats doubled in size since I got it!), but looking to add a little more to their feedings without having to spend a ton all the time (14 or 15 fish and I feed alot and multiple times a day froze foods really add up quick!)

So anyone feed any of these types of foods or even know anyone that has and if there were any ill effects? Thanks!!

Did u ever notice any ill effects and are you still doing these? What fish ate the spinach? And did u do anything special with it besides steam the spinach?

Thank you
