I'm not sure what a small "scotter" is but I'm asuming that is a scooter, the only prolem with them is that you will need plenty of live pods in the tank for them to eat as just like the mandarins they "usually" only eat live food, so if your live rock is well established and can support one, it would be a great addition. Might I suggest a bi-color pseudochromis they can be a little tempermental sometimes but with only a few fish, and they being clowns should do really well. They are the coolest swimmers and I love how it looks like someone took two different color fishes, chopped them in half and then glued the opposite colors back together.

I was thinking some kind of small blenny or some thing along those lines. I like the bi colors as well but most that i have seen are a bit to aggressive.

Is that the little desk top in your living room??? If so, it is much brighter than that pic appears. I would say maybe a jawfish or diamaond goby w/ a pistol shrimp along with a couple of percs or ocsillaris would be ok. That top on that nano should keep the goby from jumping out.
There's nowhere else I'ld rather be... unless, of course, you're buying

I like the idea of a bicolor or strawberry pseudo w/ the clowns... that's actually what I'm planning for myself. I want to move Marlin, my GSM clown, from his 10g into my fish-less 20g with a pseudo... I think they would be a fun mix!
