Default Look at my yellow tang

This is the yellow tang that was given to me whine a club member
got out of the hobby. he was all yellow at the time.
Iv done some research and believe he is a Atlantic blue Tang that is
    starting to grow up.
Although i thought Thea always had some blue from the start but not this
    one

Altantic Blue! Your guess is right on Jerry... Angel and I have been contemplating getting a juvenille in hopes of seeing the changes as it matures like you have now! They do start out almost completely yellow often with a light blue tinge around the top of the eye and from there they go through some really cool transformations.

That's just awesome... please keep us posted, for now we'll watch one mature through you!

What all do you have in your 55G Jerry? It certainly would be big enough for an Atlantic Blue, unless you have a full load of fish in the tank already. Dave and I want one, but now that were combining tanks due to the elimination of the 180G, the (2) 45G, one being my Seahorse tank, and the other will house my 3 BIG Tangs and some of my goby's or blenney. The rest will go in the wall tank in the hall/my office. Gabbey decided that she doesn't want her brand new 28G after what she and I experienced over the week that Dave had to go to CA for business. Every tank overflowed, and we fought it the entire week that he was gone. That in itself made me realize that all I do is clean and maintain tanks. I guess we had 9 tanks going at once. We will be using those tanks only until we are ready to purchase another brand new tank that will fit into an area that's kind of dead because nothing fits there right as far as furniture goes. Hopefully we'll have a big beautiful tank again. I need a little break form having wet sleeves all the timel I'd really like to just sit back once in a while and admire their beauty. Kind of got off topic there Jerry...sorry about that. By the way, I'd love to have that beautiful fish you've got there, but I sincerely hope he can livein your tank with your tender care. Keep me up on the changes of him. Lucky you! I'm sure it will all work out for you! ....Angel

Cool pics! Is it a yellow tang? It looks like it has some blue on it...like a juvenile Atlantic Blue Tang. Just curious. If you've had him for a long time, I'm sure you know he's a yellow tang. Must be the camera playing tricks on the eye. ....Angel :angel2:
