    Default Maroon Clown

I just got a small Blue Angel in my 50 gallon fowlr aquarium. These Angels can be nasty little buggers, and true to form did a number on my Female Black Percula, and due to the stress I lost her.

My daughters really like Clownfish and I am thinking of replacing my now deceased Black Percula.

I am thinking that if I added one that it would either be the same size or bigger than the Angels.

These Fish will be eventually moved to a much larger aquarium For the Angel.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be great.

Maroon clowns are as nasty as clowns get. Should not have no problems as long as it does not do the torturing.

I have had Maroons before, they never attacked me but let me know they were not happy i was in there.

My black Percula used to bite me all the time when I would clean the algae.

Should I add a pair or just one? I think it would be cool to have a pair.

I think clowns do better in pairs.

I have a mated pair of gold stripe maroons and they do very well. The female can definitely be a bit nasty and she will always go after me whenever I am in the tank. I was hoping to put my pair of black and white clowns in the tank as well and have them host the second anemone (at opposite ends of a 265 gal) but the maroon female wasnt having it. She doesnt bother any of the tangs or triggers though and usually leaves everyone else alone for the most part.
