Curious on the effectivness and reef safeness of these 2 products against bacterial infections in a reef tank. Anyone have any experience or feed back?
I just recently added Melafix to my tank. It hasnt harmed any inverts or corals. I used it for an engineer goby that was loaded w/ bristles to hopefully help him out. In 3 days, which is only as long as I used it the bristles were out and he seemed to be recovering but hasnt been seen since the 4th day. I dont believe he made it but they do hide alot.
I have used the herbtanna before which I think is basicly the same thing w/ good results. I havent heard of or used the other product you mention.

I used it in a sick tank to repair my Tailspots damaged fin and worked great. Both products are of natural ingredients and state that they're safe for reef aquariums and planted tanks.
