    Default More Babies...

Well.. I missed a great Boston Reefers meeting on Sunday at BC.
Anthony Calfo and Dr. Frank Marini were speaking. I woke late
that morning, with nothing else in mind but the meeting until I found
    this...

Yep... another batch. This is #3. The older fish (2+ weeks)
are about 1.5 CM long now. I have thirty of them. This
second batch is as of yet, uncounted. I spent hours siphoning
them out and placing them in to the Kreisel system. More mouths
    to feed.

Just finished using Photoshop to count that bucket o' fun. I come up with 236 in there. Add in the couple dozen that got chomped in the Mag7 and others who became food to the cleaner shrimp and I'm guessing Pony Boy had in and around 250 this time.

His last batch of fry was 'unscientifically' counted in and around 175. To date, I still have over 30 of that batch. All are eating gut packed baby brine shrimp, cyclopeeze, and still taking large rotifers.

A macro shot of a 3 week old fry:

Another shot of multiple fry at 3 Weeks:

Finally, some are yellow, some are brown, others are black, many have stripes already: A contrast shot:

And.. the stampede in the Kreisel system. I built another Kreisel
with two more bowls so I can thin out the number per bowl.

    Well....

Some of them will stay to help with the breeding lines.

Others will be sold or traded for additional bloodlines.

I'll be coming to you for help when we decide to do the Seahorse tank. My wife is extremely interested in having one, but only wants captive breeds in her tank. Obviously, you're a success! Thanks for sharing.
