Default My Tomato Clowns finally spawned

I've had my female Tomato for 4yrs now and the little male i've had for 2.I had always wondered if they have ever spwaned before and it just went unoticed. This morning,my wife was looking at the tank and noticed a huge clutch of orangeish/pink eggs behind the aquascape layed on the starboard substrate.I am so relieved,I was beginning to think my fish might be sterile or something,LOL.Anyways, pics to come soon.

I was just about to say, after that whole thread about pics and you don't post any with a thread like this. The only thing that kept you from being strung out to dry was the promise of pics.

P.S. CONGRATS and where are the PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At this time,I do not but once clowns start to spawn, they generally will produce a clutch every 2wks like clockwork.Since there are no other fish in this tank, they wont be preyed upon so i might get lucky and be able to keep a few alive.Eventually,I'll set up a hatchery tank for them

Awwww... Dave that is so awesome! You should try to raise them. I'd love to have even just one from my good buddy! That looks so cool. Maybe I'll actually get baby seahorses some day! I need to get prepared like soon though. I think my female and male are about ready to do the egg swap! Thanks for sharing such awesome pics with the group! ...Angel :angel5:
