YOU'RE ON THE PRICE IS RIGHT!!! ;)
well as promised here are the pics of the tile gobies ... the purple one is soooo neon purple that i don't think it is possible to get a good pic of him. i mean he is more neon purple than than a purple nean sign !! the neon yellow is just as bright but i think the purple messes with my camera or maybe he just wont sit still long enough for a snapshot. anyway, here they are ...

i will keep trying for a better pic of the purple !! but i gaurantee nothing !!
anyone with any advise on how to photograpf a SUPER bright purple fish ?? even if he is sitting still, the camera will not capture what i see thru it. it only seems to get about half of his color !! i ahve tried ALL of the settings, but i always get the same results. maybe i will try a video !!
first your going to need a small fishing hook some line and a shrimp......LOL
Is that naso tang covered in ick, or is it those two pictures?
Eric, those were the stress spots from when i transfered him from QT.
well guys, here are the pics of the elusive purple tile goby !! i figured him out, i had to put the camera on "sport" and turn tthe flash off to catch his color !!

now that i got the pics up ... i need some help !! what should i do to keep him from jumping into my overflows ?? since i got home from work @ 7:30pm, i have sprung him free from the overflows twice !! i am thinking a screen, but then if he jumps he wont land in the water but on the screen. then he would surely die, i dont want that !! any suggestions ??
Ow far can these guys jump?? Maby some screen atached to the overflow and bent down to act like the top of a dog kennel???
well, he jumped about 3"-4" over the top of the overflow and into the corner of the tank. Gobies are known for jumping but this is the first i ahve had that has jumped ... AND HE BITES !!! ouch !!
i was thinking about screen bent at an angle so he would slide back into the tank, but his fins might get caught in the mesh.
I have the same problem with on of my clowns, he allways jumps in the overflow. but he also jumps out. I guess he figured it out. so I just leave him to himself. been like that for about a month.
