My pearl jawfish has disappeared. I have not seen him for about a week. I know they create tunnels but I used to be able to see him peeking out from his normal tunnel. Anyone else have these and do they disappear for periods of time? I am afraid that my Lunar Wrasse got to him!
Yeah... unfortunately I think he kind of sucks, but I am not going to go through the trouble of finding him and taking him out. If he's in there I figure I will see him some time or other, and if he is not, I didn't see much of him anyway.
My guess is he's died. Mine has his home burrow that he hangs out in and close by all day. But his head is always poked out, except for when its night then he pulls some shells over his hole for the night. Sorry you lost him. "Jolly" (yellowheaded jawfish as well kids named him) is currently one of my favorite fish.
