I have noticed that the majority of blue tangs that I have seen at the LFS tend to come down with ick, some die and some get sold anyway. The LFS said that because the blue tang has a thin slime coat they are more prone to ick. I had him hold a blue tang for me, but today I went in and it wasn't looking so good. (not swimming much and just kinda sitting between a couple rocks-also has ick now and is pretty thin) I noticed that I could buy a powder blue tang from live aquaria for about the same price and I know they have a good guarantee. Any thoughts on whether the powder blues are even harder to keep or if they are better.
