Default Are saltwater fish pretty durable?

Iansaltyfish123 was wondering how fragile or tough saltwater fish can be, and what type of things can kill them- other than being crushed by a rock, jumping out of a tank, ect.

Anyone up for some discusion on this topic?? Think its a pretty good one to discuss, to tell you the truth.

as far as im concerned a majority of saltwater fish are fragile but all can be killed if water parimters are off types of things that kill saltwater fish that i know parimeters being off in water ick fluxs being very stressed not enough water movement in tank to put oxygen in the water nitrites to high to high of anmonia which is like acid

Flicking them in the head really hard can kill them
chemicals in the air getting into the water (ie. air fresheners)
improper cleaning/ lack of proper rinsing before adding water
not adding proper amount of salt (ie. to high/ to low salinity)
etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

mixing fish that do not get along... seems like it'd be a no brainer, but if not properly researched who would know that you shouldn't put a firefish with an undulated trigger lol
adding fish with special diets and not feeding them properly/ having their natural foods available

I got a couple good ones-

Stress-

Banging on a tank, hands in the tank, loud music ect- can lead to stress, which can kill a fish, or make it more suseptable to disease.

Bad aclimation- can also cause stress.

overstocking/stocking before the natural processes of a salt water tank are complete.- can also cause stress.
