I took some bloodworms and sucked them up in a turkey baster, stuck it in the tank and let's just say it was like flies on a pile of poo. No it wasn't that fast but about a minute or two after I stuck them in he was eating away.
Does water always taste like salt and poo????

I love those mandrains! I had one for about 5 years and he would take flake food!! Got so big! I think the reason he would take flake was he was in my original 20g when I started and he learned from the other fish because it was such a small tank. kinda "mmm they are eating it so I'll give it a shot" But I haven't had one since that would.

Just be careful with the bloodworms. They can get messy in a marine environment if not completely eaten. Yuckola!

I have one and I LOVE it. I think it looks like a frog mixed with a fish!
