Well my last 2 weeks has been brutal to say the least....Started using ro water for my water changes and top offs exclusively about 2 weeks ago.The skimmer cracked and leaked about 5 gal of water into the basement on my new carpeting. well then the butterfly started with the dreaded white spots (damn ich ) she died about 4 days ago well Friday morning I took out the large clown she was covered with a white slime that looked like it was peeling off of her the last night the smaller clown went the way of nemo....I got the court jester goby a humbug and a blue devil left they go I got a bad feeling the wife is going to insist that i get a new piece of furniture for our dinning room....all the inverts seem fine so I'm going to keep my hopes up that i can convince her to keep the tank with some modification. and a new skimmer

How bad and where is the crack on your skimmer? They are 99% acrylic so it may very well be salvagable with a couple of drops of weld-on! Sorry for the loss of the fish.... 6 weeks or so in a hyposalinity tank is the best way I know of to treat for ich to try to save the remaining fish, you can either whip together another tank to treat them, or remove any coral and inverts and treat the main tank. The hospital tank need not be anything larger than enough to keep the fish in, no lighting, a cheapo air driven type corner filter will do as the amount of water changes needed to raise and lower the salinity gradually will keep most of the toxins in check.

should be easy enough to fix... can you post a pic of the damage as it is now?
