What has them so spooked?

I recently acquired a Neon Damsel. For the first several hours it was out an about in all it's glowing glory. I was elated to finally have a fish (besides Scooter) that actually was visible. However my happiness hasn't lasted. As now this fish spends the majority of it's days hiding. Same as always for my FireFish.
I cannot figure out why? Is it the bowed front of the tank causing strange reflections? The Mm's? The Skunk Cleaner Shrimp? Can they see the end table with it's many items on it? What? I'm so frustrated having fish that hide all the time

Fish hide of they don't feel secure. There can be any number of reasons. My guess is that all you need is one "bold" fish and the rest will follow.

In my tank I think the tang serves that purpose. I'm not sure how you get that "bold" fish... Especially with the gallonage limit you have.

Clownfish are usually not too shy. And no reef is complete without a clown or two!

The damsel may still be settling into the tank. You just got it recently, correct?

Got it on Tuesday. Eats great though I'm not big on Clowns. My first & last one just loved to bite the crap outta me. So I gave it away
Then again I no longer put my hands in my tank without some heavy duty gloves on-lol.
