It takes a long long time to build a coral reef. Step by step the reefs survive on partnerships. And the most important partners are you and I.
haha thanks, I am in the middle of buying a house and should be in it by mid May so after that I should have my bigger tank up.
The Harlequin in the LED tank is doing great, I was afraid about what I was going to feed him. I planned on keeping a few C.chip stars in an extra tank and just cycle through their legs as they re-grow them. But the star didn't make it too long after the leg was cut off. So now I just feed him asterina stars from a LFS, and freeze the C.chip legs and throw one in every few weeks.
The Porcelain in my CF tank found a new hiding spot
SO I have been taking a Pic of the CF tank about every 2 weeks or so, I put this "slide show" together and think its worth sharing. The first Pic is from Jan 14 2011 and the last one was take on April 10 2011
Wow! Beautiful tank! It's great to see another pico here on CR. Good luck with the harly.
Thanks, I just hope the other pico turns out like this one did
Great looking pico! Gonna have to look out for badfish when I do a tiny tank!
