Default Ballhog's Reef

When it was new
60 G Tank: 48 x 24 x 12
Horizontal Overflow: 48 x 6 x 11

It's been a few years since then, I had a nasty move that I didn't go well, I lost allot of my buddies, all of my hard coral, brissel stars and lost some interest. However, things are starting to turn around. I add a couple T5 and thinking of adding a few more.
Light: 250W HQi, 2 x T5
Return: mag 9
Skimmer: Aqua-C 120

So this is what we have today.
The sump is gone. I use the 14 gallon horizontal overflow as a sump for the skimmer and Cheato.

Nice setup despite all the adversity. What are the dimension of the tank/approximate gallons of the display? This seems more like a tidepool or a lagoon setup, and I love it.

Very cool tank, why did you ditch the sump?

Thanks,
60 G Tank: 48 x 24 x 12
Horizontal Overflow: 48 x 6 x 11

The sump was very hard to get too under the cabinet and the overflow is so large, I figured why not. I really like it better without the sump, less parts and easier to clean.

Thanks,

I'm running a HQI Phoneix 14k bulb now, I'm thinking of changing it, just not sure which bulb. Anyone have any suggestions?
