Well here's some updated pics of the 150 sps.I set this tank up in October(10/1/10)
For the tech guy's here it is
150 gal aga with dual over flows and four point closed loop driven by blueline external70hd,the return has four ports and is driven by a blue line external 40hd.In the tank is two Tunzes 6025 uniballs, two nano 750 nano uniballs and 1 korilla four behind the rockscape to keep flow moveing behind the rock.
Skimmer is a bubble king 180 mini
1 800w titanium and 1 300w backup titanium heater
Lights are three lumenbright single end metal halide with radion 20k bulbs at 250w eack
75 gallon sump with all filter feeder type coral instead of cheato(pally's,zoa's and etcc...)
Dt has about 150 lbs of rock and the sump has close to 80# aprx
fuge has a semi dbs about three inches
Complete system is controled by Neptunes Apex controler with three dc8,it even does the water changes(sweet)
useing BRS two part system recipe #1 doased by meter liter 3
Running GFO and carbon on BRS's dual reactor

Beautiful fish, corals, clams (I'd love to see some close-ups of them) and coralline covered rock. But the exposed equipment and clear back glass majorly distract from the DT... IMHO.

Thats one nice looking tank you got there, but I have to agree with Tom, I'm kinda distracted by the exposed pluming in the background.

Thanks everyone.I am planning to paint the back glass this spring.I want to be able to ventalate the room so we'll wait for spring to keep Mrs Binford happy.I was thinking of encloseing the system also but I'm a toy nut and kinda like to be able to get to stuff without low crawling. The design was intended for a basemant sump but with the economy the way it is we ended up moveing into my brothers house to help him out.No basemant tho so I had to adjust. Speaking of paint, anyone got some recomendation???Never painted a tank befor

i love the magnetic frag plugs! i am considering getting some myself, i was always worried about the magnet in the overflow section but i see you have a few on your overflow, any rust from the magnets inside holding them or no?

The chalice on the overflows are epoxyed on all the stuuf on the glass is magnets.I was worried about the same problem(rust)so I used only magnets that are completly coated with plastic.I really like the magnets and my turbo snails redecorate the back glass all the time to give it a new look.I think they're playing checkers lol On the good side they have yet to knock one off
